Each day is a new and exciting adventure

Kim’s Kids, located in Park Slope, Brooklyn, offers children, ages 4½ to 12, the opportunity to spend their summers physically active, exploring nature while taking trips every day throughout New York City and its surrounding regions.

It is a continuous agenda of hiking, swimming, climbing, playing, running all summer long.

From there you might find us jumping into an icy pool on a hot summer day; hiking along wooded trails, climbing over rocks or fallen trees; racing through sprinklers in one of the many New York City playgrounds; swimming in a secluded lake in New Jersey; riding a camel at the Bronx Zoo; racing down a water slide at Sesame Place; learning to ice skate in the midst of summer heat; walking across the Brooklyn Bridge…

And children love it.

Did we mention trips every day?

A typical day at Kim’s Kids Summer Camp… Spoiler: there is no such thing!

We get out into nature…

Considering we live in a huge metropolitan area, it’s surprising how much natural beauty lies within and just outside the city’s borders. We explore it all.

Keep very active…

From bowling to ice skating, from playground hopping to swimming, from running to climbing, from jumping into amusement park rides to touring New York attractions, Kim’s Kids rarely sits still.

And see the sights!

We live in one of the world’s most exciting cities, and there is no end to the fascinating places we can go – museums, amusement parks, zoos, historic landmarks… And that is just the beginning.

I feel like this is the one camp that allows my daughter to have the kind of outdoor summer that I had when I was a kid when we were able to roam more freely, climb rocks, swim, go to the beach. They even add ice skating and having a snowball fight in the Zamboni-created snow on a hot summer day. Dan and Cory have been doing this for over 40 years. They know what they’re doing.

My son is about to complete his 7th summer at this camp so we know it very well. The staff is great, supportive and tons of fun while keeping my son safe and always busy. The trips are great and so varied. If your child loves action, culture and being on the move – this camp is a gem!
