Trips every day:  Kim’s Kids takes children on exciting trips throughout New York City and the surrounding region.  It is everything children yearn for in their summers, hiking, swimming, playing, running, climbing, meeting new friends, building castles in the sand, exploring, testing their abilities as they cross a stream on rocks laid before them or search for crabs living under those rocks.  Children love it. It’s a summer of being away from the pressures of the year.  Of having the opportunity to just be a child for the summer.

Upon arrival the children are offered a healthy snack, usually a variety of fruit.

Early Bird Drop Off Program;  8 – 9 AM, at PS 321, in Park Slope, Brooklyn.  Children get to play in the adjoining school yard.

Late Bird Pick Up Program:  3 – 6 PM, at PS 321 in Park Slope, Brooklyn.  Children get an afternoon snack before playing outdoor sports or on playground climbers; or indoors in air conditioned rooms playing foosball, with our train set, dolls or just drawing, painting or reading.   Children often prefer going from one activity to another, spending some of the time outdoors and some indoors.

Flexible Scheduling:  Kim’s Kids was the first camp to offer flexible scheduling.  A child may attend for as little as 3 weeks, 3 days per week, up to a full season of 6 weeks, 5 days per week, with many choices in between.  This is particularly valuable to young children who might find a full program tiring; families who have vacations scheduled; or those who might want to just get away for long summer weekends.  Parents who want their children to have a camp experience but may not be able to afford a full program find the reduced schedule economical.
